We are known for being a friendly club

Our course is well maintained and we have superb greens. You can be assured of a varied and interesting round – and because our course has excellent drainage, we are often open when many other courses are closed.

To ensure your preferred tee time is available, we recommend you use our online booking system. But we will do our best to fit you in if you make a late call to the club, or just turn up on the day.

Please call in at the Pro Shop to introduce yourself to David & Edwina on arrival.

Visitors FAQs
  • Weekend Availability

There are competitions most Sundays (April to October), but visitors can normally play on a Saturday and on a Sunday anytime after 3.00pm.

  • Tee Priorities

Please note Ladies Day is Wednesday when they have priority on the 1st tee.  Anyone with a confirmed tee time has priority on the 1st tee for that tee time over casual golfers.  For this reason, and to avoid disappointment, we recommend that both visitors and members confirm their booking online prior to play.

  • Location

The club is on the outskirts of Silverdale village, a short distance from the M6 junction 35 just after the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve.  Should you wish to visit by train, the club is immediately opposite Silverdale Station.

  • Dress Code

Please maintain an acceptable standard of appearance on the course and in the clubhouse.

See our dress code for guidance.

  • Buggies & Trolleys

We have 6 x Two Seater Buggies and 1 x Single Seater Buggies for hire.  These can be booked by ringing our Professional Shop on 01524  701300 ext.3. Please note that the use of Buggies is at the discretion of the club and may not be available in adverse conditions.

We also have 2 x Electric Trolleys and 12 x Push Trolleys for hire. Please contact our Professional to reserve.

Silverdale GC, was a great days golf. The course is a great mix of holes. It has elevated tees. Elevated greens. Blind tee shots. Everything for a great golf day.

Brilliant golf course in fantastic condition. Some really quirky and enjoyable holes. Warm welcome from the couple in the pro shop. Will definitely be recommending to others and looking to book another visit.

I visited here whilst on holiday In the area. This course is one to think your way around with some quirky/interesting holes. The holes on the clubhouse side of the road are more challenging but all the more fun for it. Keep the driver in the bag for some holes. Accuracy is the key. A hidden gem.
